Castle Melamine was established in 1994. Today, more than 15 years later and after a change in ownership, they remain a family business committed to providing high quality products. The recent acquisition by Ian and Jackie Scott, owners of Customworks - a division of Scotbadge Ltd, not only brings 18 years manufacturing experience but the addition of an in-house design and print facility. This means that Castle Melamine can now offer a competitive bespoke service across a variety of products to complement their licensed range. Working with some of the UK’s most innovative designers, artists and photographers the range is eclectic and interesting – with a strong focus on product development, aiming to maintain your interest in the product range with the regular launch of new designs and up-to-date mainstream licensed imagery.

Castle Melamine employ 11 staff dedicated to pressing, cutting, shaping and packing of the melamine. Each member of staff specialises in their own area of production but all work together as a team looking after quality at each step along the way. Each mat and coaster goes through six different processes during production – it’s a hands-on process providing the highest quality products.
